Jesus said, “Come after me and I will make you fishers of men”,
and the apostles left their nets and followed Him.

Jesus tells us to GO out to evangelize, to MAKE disciples, to BAPTIZE them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to TEACH them to obey His commands. The Office of Catechesis and Sacramental Formation at St. James the Apostle focuses on this Great Commission.

Faith formation is primarily the responsibility of the parents. Our parish Catechesis and Sacramental Formation Program builds on this foundation and is an integral part of the larger catechetical ministry of the Catholic Church.

M-F 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

On Class Days:
Tues, Wed: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturdays 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM

We are closed during Thanksgiving week, Christmas Break, and Holy Week.

Catechesis and Sacramental Formation Board

The Catechesis and Sacramental Formation Board serves as an advisory committee to the Pastor and to the Director of Sacramental Formation on matters of curriculum, finance, and organization of the program. Board members are selected by means of discernment and serve a three-year term. Parishioners interested in serving on the Board should contact the Director of Sacramental Formation, Deacon Matt Pidgeon, at 630-469-7540 X30. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of every month of the school year at 7PM.
